Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is a 1995 American detective comedy film and the sequel to Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994), and the second installment of the Ace Ventura franchise. Jim Carrey reprises his role as the title character Ace Ventura, a detective who specializes in the retrieval of tame and captive animals that have escaped, who has been summoned to a fictional country in East Africa called Nibia to locate a missing bat.
