Macbeth is a 1948 American film adaptation of William Shakespeare's tragedy, written, co-produced, and directed by Orson Welles. It stars Welles in the titular role, along with Jeanette Nolan as Lady Macbeth, Dan O'Herlihy as Macduff, and Roddy McDowall as Malcolm.
