Shame is a 2011 British psychological drama film produced by Film4 and See-Saw Films, directed by Steve McQueen, and co-written by McQueen and Abi Morgan. It stars Michael Fassbender as a sex addicted New Yorker named Brandon, whose life starts to unravel when his younger sister shows up in his life.
