The Bourne Supremacy is a 2004 American action thriller film directed by Paul Greengrass and written by Tony Gilroy. Loosely based on the novel of the same name and a sequel to The Bourne Identity (2002), the film stars Matt Damon as Jason Bourne, a former CIA assassin suffering from psychogenic amnesia trying to learn more of his past when he is enveloped in a conspiracy involving the CIA and Treadstone.
